About the event
Come to our first UU Youth Corps meeting! We will be hearing from community organizers and activists about their stories of working for social justice, what does community organizing mean, what can solidarity look like. We have three awesome speakers lined up! Ronel Remy from City Life/Vida Urbana who does housing justice, Jon Wishnie who has worked for Better Future Project on climate justice and solidarity (and has worked with youth climate organizers), and our very own Rev Annie who does many things but I know from her work supporting Immigration Justice.
And we will begin to plan to bring a social justice action to support these activists to the Feb 11 Youth Con!
Location either at Bedford or Belmont UU (stay tuned), and time between 4-6:30PM
